PPI provides Environmental, Subsurface Investigation, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Materials Testing Services for Industrial and Commercial Projects throughout the four-state region, on a wide range of new and redeveloped site locations. PPI has completed numerous new development Projects in Springfield’s Partnership Industrial Center (PIC); Partnership Industrial Center West (PIC West); Joplin’s Crossroads Industrial Park, and Branson’s Commerce Park.
PPI works for several regional and national Clients, including Aldi’s, Arvest Bank, and Menards. PPI assists our regional and national Clients with Environmental Services, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Materials Testing Services for new development, acquisitions, and renovations throughout our service area.
Recently completed Projects include the FedEx Distribution Center in Webb City, Missouri. PPI provided Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing Services for the Project in 2014 and 2015. Historically wet weather conditions required engineering consultation pertaining to subgrade stabilization for long-term support of new concrete pavements.
In downtown Springfield, PPI has provided Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing Services for multiple housing developments, many within close proximity to Missouri State University.
Beginning in 2011, PPI completed multiple project phases for John Deere & Company’s new Core Consolidation Remanufacturing Facility in Strafford, Missouri. The Project included construction of an approximately 275,000 square foot building, with heavy floor slab loads. PPI provided recommendations for remediation and stabilization of poor subgrade soils; light and heavy duty pavement; and heavily loaded concrete slabs on grade. Construction materials testing and third-party inspection services were also provided.
