PPI’s Geophysics Department Manager, Mr. Joshua Elson, G.R.I.T., attended the EEGS Conference in Austin, Texas from March 22 through 26, 2015. Conference topics included MASW in Urban Environments, Recent Advancements in Borehole Geophysics, and Near Surface Characterization using the HVSR Passive Seismic Method.
PPI turned the tap on our Newly Acquired CME 1050X Drill Rig at a Project Site in Taney County. The rubber-tired CME 1050X requires heavy duty hollow stem augers and attachments to handle the torque it puts out. With a 30-foot tower and 3 winches, the CME 1050X makes an excellent addition to PPI’s fleet.
